Bass Snakes

It's mellow, but not smooth...and kinda shitty. Jimmy Buffet!

About Me

My name is Brad. Maybe you shouldn't care about any of this, or maybe you should...I don't know - that's really your decision isn't it? Here goes: I love creating and playing music. I listen to a wide variety of stuff, and I like playing any music that exudes honesty and is performed with intensity of some kind. I currently play drums in a "soft-to-exploding" indie-rock band called Worn In Red and bass/vocals in a mellower band called Blur The Lines (be our friends!). I do sexual violence prevention work for a living. Contrary to popular belief, my work does not depress me. I have 2 cats: Pogoh (a tabby) and Pancake (a white w/ gray spots mutt). They crack me up on a regular basis. I've been riding a skateboard for over 15 years - mostly just street skating. Snowboarding is fun too when I can afford it. As far as politics go...I used to have a long thing here about it, but let's just say I think that ethics are more important than religion, and neither means anything if your actions don't follow suit. Why's it gotta be "MYspace"? Howsabout "OURspace"?

My Interests

They made a documentary film about my life. It's called, "Thrashin' the Cube: My life as a white Rick Fox." The feature film, due out in 2008, is called: "Runnin' From the Cheese Police." It's rated NC-17 for full frontal dude-ity. Ms. Fitz watches it over and over again...she's in love with it and wants to have 10 million of its babies.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who isn't looking to be friends solely to promote their band. Anyone who does their best to refrain from using cyber-abbreviations (e.g., LOL, OMG, ROFL, WTF, etc.).

Myspace is the new Dungeons & Dragons

It's true. Because my chosen profession of sexual violence prevention is as prone to "buzz" and "hot-button issues" like any other, I've been hearing a lot about internet safety lately. Usually it goe...

Brief recap of Saturday: Wake up. Skate with numerous other 30 year old dudes I've known for 15 years. Watch with admiration as we all rip shit up. Break my board. Put on a new board. Return to park t...

On The Streets I'm just a geezer...

So anyone who talks music with me knows I'm mildly obsessed with The Streets (AKA Mike Skinner). He's one of those artists that you either love or hate, and I fall in the former camp. Those of you fal...

So I randomly run across this other guy named "B-Rad" on myspace. This is what he says about himself: "I am a pretty well rounded person. I love to practice contact sports (wrestling, martial arts) an...
