About Me

HAILING from Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, Our Small Capital are having a go at making the music industry sit up and take notice, whilst still living and working in the highlands. Last year after playing at the goNORTH showcase in Aberdeen, the band was invited to play at Manchester's In the City festival. From this performance the band were selected to play the SxSW (South by Southwest) Festival in Austin, Texas. The Band has also performed radio sessions for BBC Radio 1, BBC Scotland and BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal. Signed a one single record deal, with the new Manchester based label, Baby Boom Records. oh, and played a gig in Moscow!! The bands singer William Campbell has previously been in both astrid and The Reindeer Section. the bands debut EP immune to bad news, was released on baby boom records, its now sold out Websites www.oursmallcapital.com www.williamcampbell.co.uk www.myspace.com/oursmallcapital
