About Me

It's 2:30 at night and I can't sleep I'm a freaking tired jet lagging dragon Alan and I just flew in to San Fran from the land of Kiwis, Kangaroos, and drunken young footie fans. I already miss the rugged beauty of Tasmania and the kind souls of the kiwis, but it will be nice to sleep in our own bed and drive on the right side of the road( it is not a good experience to wonder why someone is driving head on in your lane...and then to realize... Shit! Why is the center lane on the right....hmmm!) Luckily that only happened once after a full day of driving through windy roads and stopping every 2 minutes to immortalize another moment on film. I think we immortalized about a thousand moments, and fifty of those are my cool self portaits that Alan loves...ha ha! He wonders why I waste the space on his memory card, but who else is going to take dorky pictures of me in front of the campervan, or on top of the 3 sisters(rocks in the blue mts.) It was a fantastic trip,indeed one of the best. New Zealand will be remembered for the kindness of strangers, the beautiful windy roads, and the millions of sheep. Australia mainly for Tasmania and The Blue Mts. Sydney was just too many faces, too much concrete, and a rat hole hostel that should have been condemned. Tasmania....Wow! I never realized what a beautiful home the little devils have... blew me away... the colors were spectacular... turqoise bays of fire,bright orange rocks, Maroon and yellow tundra, inky blue storm clouds. The weather was tumultuous and unpredictable(a little like me when I'm hungry and tired) Fantastic!Especially considering Alan and I still like eachother after a month and a half of stressful driving and expensive travel. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I love hiking, biking, backpacking, travelling, dancing, soccer,getting absolutely crazy, painting, reading,music, laughing, a steaming cup of coffee, mornings, breakfast, sweet ass conversation with good old time friends, the spark of excitement when a great plan of adventure ignites, Gooood! I love my new '85 Caddy Cruella, she is a dream of a ride
