Marcus S. Johnson

Experimental film composer working in multiple styles, conglomerations and hybrids. I have been playing piano and guitar since an early age and performed with friends in garage bands and later performed around Los Angeles as a singer songwriter. After studying at the famed Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre and Video Symphony TV and Film Post Production Institute, I started doing scores for indie filmmakers and friends. The journey has been interesting and ever unfolding. Director Tamara Kelley's project "Flower", which I score in at the end of 2005, will be apart of BET year long short film competition. Wishing her the best of luck. Also Josh Tate's upcoming project "Empty" is slated for production late 2007 or early 2008. Very excited about working with my friend Josh again.
