The Rhythm Merchant

Baby make it good!

About Me

The Rhythm Merchant is a high-energy indie rock power trio with a sound that incorporates elements of funk, punk, and reggae. While the first two records were one-man projects, there would have been some obvious logistical problems if Dave were to try to play live by himself. Thus, Eric and Pat. The trio is working on a new album, and it will rock; Hard.

Band Members

Dave Grammerstorf is the man behind The Rhythm Merchant. Dave wrote, performed, and engineered the first two Rhythm Merchant records. Now he sings from behind his drum kit with the use of a Britney Spears-esque headset mic.

Eric Arico is the guitarist/guitar slaughterer of the band. He spends a large percentage of his time killing and replacing feeble D strings on his guitar.

Pat "The Duke" Dudgeon provides the bottom end with his fretless bass guitar. He also does splits that defy gravity.
