small press comics, video games, sketch comedy, robots, hot dogs, Asian cinema, "nerdy" girls
Anyone trapped in space, forced to watch bad movies with robots...
rock, techno, synth, death metal, obscure Japanese stuff, video game soundtracks... I used to be into rap until Puffy ruined everything. I'll listen to basically ANYTHING, except for contemporary country. Dear God does that shit suck.
Memento, Being John Malkovich, Ghost World, Rushmore, Ghostbusters, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Popeye, Tron, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Return to Oz, Run Lola Run, Blues Brothers, Ghostbusters, Quick Change, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Big Trouble in Little China, Time Bandits, Back To The Future Part 2, Hard Boiled, Survive Style 5+, Chungking Express, Fallen Angels, Bio Zombie, Litter On The Breeze, Akira, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Funky Forest, Black Belt Jones, Karate Ruler
I really don't watch much television these days, except stuff I grew up with on DVD, like SCTV, Kids in the Hall, Pee Wee's Playhouse, Liquid Television, Pete & Pete, MST3K, Twin Peaks, X Files, Red Dwarf, Get a Life, and Space Ghost. More "recent stuff" that I actually dig includes Strangers With Candy, Arrested Development, Mr Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Futurama, Venture Brothers. I'm also a diehard cable access fan.
I need pictures to go with words, so I mostly read comics; indie/small press stuff. I occasionally indulge in 80’s super hero books and even manga, even though most of it is pretty bad. The last good one I read was Sexy Voice & Robo, which mostly folks have never heard of.
