Cory Jones (aka Cojo) Is a producer / DJ who's unique musical upbringing has made for some interesting and tasteful ideas. He prides himself on the fact that he is a musician first and foremost, having knowledge and personal experience with a variety of different instruments as well as genre's. His performing style is a mix of progressive electro-funk, synthy tech -house, and clubby, dance-inducing floor stompers. It was at a young age Cojo and others around him knew his destiny was to become a Grammy award winning artist. As the years have past he has become more and more determined to make that goal a reality. "The sacrifice is the best part of doing what I do because it involves a constantly changing environment which is the ultimate catalyst for creativity. The more I live and learn the more I construct material that can be universally appreciated." Cojo , along with up and coming funky house phenomenon, Jed X, started a production duo known as the Crackaz. Individually their styles are on opposite sides of the genre spectrum. When they work together the sound is a pleasurable texturing of hard hitting rhythms and smooth transitions. Along with fellow deck affecters DJ Ben Shelton and Nato, the foursome started the Subsidize promotional group.
