About Me

I'm a Russian Boston Creme Donut. Things I like: Good movies, thunderstorms, non-fiction, sandalwood, berries, bubble baths, dancing, environmentalists, feminists, finding money in my pockets, triceps, people who play music, people who sing, other people's photos, senior citizens, pedicures and manicures, throwing out the trash, smells in foreign countries, sincerity, natural light, getting email, cake for breakfast, getting something for nothing. Things I don't like: Meetings about nothing, men who curse in front of women they don't know, women who curse without reason, leather on skin, dancing with a bad dancer, people who brag about money and/or sex and/or drugs, dog hair, sandy feet on bedsheets, traffic noise, empty phrases, not getting email, parking tickets, bad hair days, scratchy clothing, diamonds, runny eggs, finding out someone doesn't like me.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who think. Elie Wiesel: "We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." Don Marquis: "When a man tells you he got rich through hard work, ask him 'whose?'" Madeleine Albright: "There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women." Albert Einstein: "Only morality in our actions can give beauty and dignity to life." Martin Luther King Jr:"We will have to repent in this generation, not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people." Mahatma Gandhi: "It has always been a mystery to me how men can feel themselves honored by the humiliation of their fellow beings... The first principle of non-violent action is that of non-cooperation with everything humiliating." George Bernard Shaw: "The more things a man is ashamed of, the more respectable he is." Sir Winston Churchill: "Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened." Betty Rollin: "Scratch most feminists and underneath there is a woman who longs to be a sex object. The difference is that is not all she wants to be." Frank Barron: "Never take a person's dignity: it is worth everything to them, and nothing to you."
