I enjoy shopping (what girl doesn't?), spending time with my daughter & hubby and enjoying life in general. Every day is like a new chapter in my life and I am extreamly lucky to have such wonderful people in it. My sister is my best friend and together we are thick as thieves!! I also love spending time with her.
My all time wish would be to meet the band members of Duran Duran (in particular my favourite band member JT) In 2003 Duran Duran were here on tour with Robbie Williams and were doing some shows of their own. But unfortunately I wasn't able to attend any of their gigs due to the early arrival of my daughter. I do hope they consider touring here again and can't wait for the release of their new album which is due October this year! ..
Duran Duran, that's pretty much it!! just kidding! I love a lot of the 80's music and I enjoy a variety of music with good bass lines in them. Hence why I like the Bass God himself (JT). I associate music with events/moments & people in and around my life. A dear friend passed away suddenly in 1993. And the song that reminds me most of him is "Ordinary World", one of my all time favorites. Another favourite is "Amazing" by Alex Lloyd (an aussie artist)this song reminds me of my daughter and how strong willed she is to stay in this world. I also enjoy listening to another local band "Jet", a bit of AC/DC, Pseudo Echo, Sherbet,Pet Shop Boys,New Order, Daniel Hayes,Matchbox 20, Sarah McLachlan, Ultravox,David Bowie,Kylie and a whole lot more...

I am a sucker for romance, love watching: Grey's Anatomy. I also enjoy watching CSI Miami Boston Legal, and local Aussie programs about music,Chartbusting 80's, 'RocKwiz' and 'Spicks and Specks'.
Favorite book: Tuesday's with Morrie" - an inspiring book, a real tear jerker and one that makes you appreciate life in general. If only we could inspire to be a bit more like Morrie, the world would be a nicer place. Another favourite is: The Notebook, pretty much a love story!! I also enjoyed reading Duran Duran Notorious - Steve Malins
My heroes are the nursing staff in the NICU ( Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) they do a wonderful job under very difficult circumstances. We are forever grateful and they are always in our thoughts.
