TOC! I can still rock; I just can't hear anymore.

About Me

I work, I read, I surf the web, I pick up after people, I grade papers, I wipe up, I do laundry, I puzzle over crosswords, I say "no, you can't", I grade more papers, I empty the dishwasher, I wish it was summer so I could take the kayak out on the river.

My Interests

I love my kayak. Especially when I can get the river all to myself. There are a lot of things I like to do that I don't do anymore. My time seems to be filled with other things. In some ways that is good. I love my family. There's no ifs, ands, or buts about that. I like looking for answers and solving problems, finding solutions. Sometimes, though, it would be better to just let things go.

I'd like to meet:

The Dalai Lama. He started out as just a little boy in Tibet. He doesn't really have a job or a talent, yet he is famous. Kind of like Paris Hilton.a href="http://www.nackvision.com/myspace/" Effects For Images and Links

Movies are really important to Americans, aren't they? I like movies, too. I wonder what people listed in this category of Myspace before movies were invented.

Television:

South Park, Trailer Park Boys, Absolutely Fabulous, Reno911, Footballers Wives. No Lifetime Channel. No Oprah. I like when AMC shows silents.

Books:

Most of my reading time is spent on the daily newspaper and juvenile fiction. I am always in debt to Scholastic Book Clubs. When I get a chance, I try to understand something by Neal Stephenson. I think his characters are really interesting. His book Snow Crash is like reading Jules Verne and H. G. Wells.

Heroes:

My husband. My dad. My son. Eleanor Roosevelt.
