I know I am sick with anger, sick with upset
I shouldn't be talking now, I should be resting my voice
But I want you to know, I want you to need me as much as I need you
Please let this be proof, that I will sing my lungs out
Contract and expand with air, they will, they will
I continue on, everything is still the same

As my heart beats and as I breathe, this air
I know you know this is not fair

I am left as I was before you came, and picked me up,
Examined my wounds stiched my cuts
This must be proof
I now claim solid, as I did liquid

Life is a troublesome place to be
With my hands at my throat and they're chocking me

Excuses are born in your mouth, dancin around in my ears
Screaming and picking them out, left alone with my fears

I continue on, with everything still the same
We are moving forward playing different games

You are taking your steps up, I'm left to fall down

as I claim solid, I melt to liquid
Come protect me, come protect me

There must of been something in the water, as they say
The moment, the very second I met you.. that day
