The Lava City Roller Dolls, LLC, of Bend, Oregon was established in February of 2006. The League is comprised of 40+ members and includes 5 teams: The Travel Teams: The Smokin' Ashes and the Cinder Kittens; The outlaw women of 12 Gauge Rage, the lace clad hotties of the Moulin Bruise, and the 2006/2007 Season Champions -The Nerve Agents, a wild bunch of biohazardous babes!
LCRD's Intraleague Season runs from September - December each year. Each month two teams go head to head to determine who will battle it out for Lava City supremacy at the Championship Bout in December.
We pride ourselves on sportswomanship, teamwork, community involvement and promoting the sport of Women's Flat Track Roller Derby!
We love diversity. We are composed of women from all walks of life, many varied backgrounds, and many different professions. We are nurses, mothers, business owners, fitness trainers, waitresses, students...and the list goes on...
Our goal is to become members of the Women's Flat Track Derby association and represent Bend, OR by competing at the national level. Help us revitalize and grow the sport of Roller Derby!

Want to be involved? Think Roller Derby is only for women? Although our skaters are all women we are always looking for men and women to help support the league! We are currently recruiting referees, statisticians, mascots, and volunteers to help in a variety of roles. Come to one of our practices for more details!
Currently we are holding practices every Sunday afternoon at the Central Oregon Indoor Sports Center from 3-5 p.m. and Tuesday Evenings from 8-10 pm. Come early so you can get skates and gear, and fill out paperwork to get things started. Everyone is welcome!!! No skating experience needed!!
