Duality will rise again in 2009…Expressed through extremes such as Progressive vs. Old School Black Metal, added with catchy Black Trash riffs, BodySerpent unites these different genres into one, mass destructive sonic weapon!Formed in 2004 by screaming guitarist Viper, later joined by Thorn on bass, BodySerpent first started as a duo when the video for the song “Ruler†was shot in May 2005 by video/photo director Pat Tremblay, also known for his work with Viking Crown, Wurdulak and Ghoulunatics, among others. It was clear then that BodySerpent wouldn’t try to do it like any other band, by producing their first video before even releasing a demo.Our sorely missed ex-drummer Scale from France joined in late 2005, giving BodySerpent the opportunity to perform few gigs around Montreal and Toronto, such as the blasphemous 6/6/06 show at Café Chaos in Montreal.Bodyserpent’s demo got recorded at Cite 2000 (Montreal) on August 6, 2006 by Francis “DJ Ostrogoth†Barbin and Mathieu Simard at Apocalypse Productions giving the band an excellent 7-piece to throw out.As the autumn leaves fall and seasons turn, changes in the line-up have yet to occur with the departure of Scale, returning to France because his visa expired.January 2007....The group welcomes new members Xoth on guitars and Viskous on drums, both as you can see, have been added in the new band pic... We're proud to announce the now available NEW VIDEO for the lenghty 6 minutes & 42 seconds "Uncovering the Shrouds" track of our album. Once again, it's directed by Pat Tremblay who has also edited it and did the visual effects. A senseless attack of groove filtered thru a blast of kinetic imagery...
