I`m a laid back Nam Vet (In-Country Jan 68-69)...Served with the Army 1st Signal Brigade, 63rd Signal Bn ..Mainly in the Phu Bai Combat Base .. Just south of the infamous city of HUE.. I was a Radio Operator Before Nam, In Nam , and after Nam..I`m a Licensed Ham Radio Operator (Advanced) with the call of KD2TT..Was pretty heavy into contesting until about 5 years ago when I moved.. Recently got back on the Air and I`m running and Icom IC-718 and a 40 meter Vee up 40 ft..Also run some 2 meter fm with an IC-28A and a discone. Calls I`ve had include WN2OWY,WB2ZVJ,WB4DFV (Florida),WB2TCQ, and My current Call KD2TT here on Long Island.. I Enjoy Ridin and a Good Party....I Have 2 Great Kids! Dan, 17 and Kyle, 20. I like puttin around Long Island, goin up state, or where ever the road takes me....Checkin out different places and meeting new people .. have a few cold Beers.. and we`re always looking for a new Barbecue Joint ...Love them Ribs! Maybe we`ll run into ya sometime....
