About Me

Groove Substation is a name that I've been working under for the last several years while refining my skills as an electronic music artist. It represents my evolution as both an artist, and as a producer from my early adventures to where I am today. I've been dabbling in creating music since I was around 11/12 years old. I started out trying to put together various rock bands with close friends, but progressively my own musical explorations moved more and more into an electronic direction stemming from my industrial rock influences. With each step I delved further into the world of electronic based music finding more and more success until I eventually decided to totally embrace my love of electronica and create entirely electronic music compositions myself.

Now, the few years in the lab, or “temple” as I like to call it, are starting to pay off as I am beginning to realize my own dreams and potential. While new releases may or may not come out with the Groove Substation monkier, the vision still remains as strong as ever.

In other words – get ready.

Aside from creating original material, I'm also looking into doing live digital mix performances (breaks, house, and trance) at an event near you. ;-)

Check out my recommended releases of the moment. Labelmate Rob aka Dj Speechless. Updated 7/1/08

*Special thanks to all the people who've supported me all these years on the sidelines and many shouts to those who have taught me how to take it just a step further - you know who you are! I can't wait to blow your minds. ;-) Get ready.
