Coming through in the CLUTCH is noneother than the infamous Nycki Barnes and Noelle. THe streets of New York once awaited Nycki Barnes, then signed to Columbia with Alicia Keys and 50 Cent...but as the world understands the concept of "timing" and also the inability for record labels to realease worthy talent, Nycki Barne's time wasn't then...it's now. The beautiful Jamaican MC hailing from BX took a hiatus from the game, but after linking up with Noelle, the "Queen of the Mixtape" herself, it was inevitable that the game still lived in her. Nycki Barnes quickly laced collaborations with Noelle for mixtape purposes, with "Fiyaman" leaking to radio in Los Angeles, California. The 2 KNEW then, they had a special sound together. No one really knows Nycki Barnes is back, FOR NOW, except those that find her here. (THANK GOD FOR MYSPACE!) Nycki Barnes and Noelle have discovered a rare combination of raw hip-hop & street R&B TOGETHER. With Floetry being the only rap/sing female duo in the game, Nycki Barnes & Noelle's approach come lyrically from a young street perspective. Nycki Barnes attacks you lyrically; BX-style, mixed with the soul and passion of Noelle's voice; the way Mary J. Blige surrounded Method Man on "All I Need." The 2 together are as strong as they are alone with Noelle already creating her buzz with "Like THat" featuring Pitbull currently breaking radio, and her "So Sick Ladies Remix" being added in rotation alongside Ne-Yo. Both ladies write ALL of their lyrics, and are every producer's dream with their work ethic, drive, writing, talent, and DELIVERY!!!!
