Draway was a band out of Lemont, Illinois, a small town outside of Chicago. The band was founded by two long-time friends singer, guitarist Nick Rivers and guitarist Vincent Vanderlou. Through 2006 the two recorded their demo the fifteen song Draway Yell. The demo was recorded in the cave on a BR-8 digital 8-track. Rivers and Vanderlou performed all the instruments except for drum performances on three songs by friend Rafal and a bass performance on one song by friend Wick. The demo is finished and is available now. Yell is an eclectic group of songs driven by two friends. Wick and Rafal joined the group in April of 2006. The band played some shows and did some recording in the cave, but in June of 2007 the group split up for many different reasons. Nick Rivers is currently pursuing a solo career, while Vincent Vanderlou plays bass for the band Lemonster. Rafal is enjoying his party girls, while Wick has entered fatherhood and is doing the best for his son. A special thanks to Marvko Draway's artist and Guru for a wicked album cover.
