About Me

"The People have always had the power. If only they knew."
"There is something rugged and romantic about the past. But the 'now' seems overproduced, even bland. Will people 100 years from now say the same thing, or have we built too many walls to see past ourselves? Are there any more undiscovered frontiers? Is there room for one more pioneer? I sure hope so. Otherwise, it would seem to me we're little more than hamsters on a big spherical treadmill. Maybe that's what we want to be."
"Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? ...I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"
"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
- Benjamin Franklin"
"Walking in the shadows, light slices through, carving sharp lines into the concrete. I step over them, as if razor blades were pushing up from underneath the weeds. My boots steadily thunk along, crushing the hands of theives, kicking the face of evil. I wield my baton, and I shall call it justice....and for a moment, I reign supreme."
"The weight of the world, is what we're waiting on. Once it's lifted, everything falls apart, disperses into nothing. Into space. It is the gravity that holds us together. The touch of a hand that withstands the wind, water and hellfire. Let go of your brothers and sisters, and you will be sucked into a deep dark hole, never to surface again. But we have a long reach, so never give up. Pull. Grab and claw, as if the abyss will swallow you whole. Cause it will. If you let it."
"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." -- Theodore Roosevelt
"Fool me once, shame on... shame on you... fool me... you can't get fooled again!" -- George W. Bush
"What you do, what you say, what you are, may help others in ways you never know. ?Your influence, like your shadow, extends where you may never be." -- author unknown
"If voting could really change things, it would be illegal." -- sign hanging in Revolution Books NYC
***Just so you all don't think I'm a "quote guy" who just uses other people's words to express myself, you can check out my blogs & get a taste of my infinite wisdom and biting sarcasm.

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly -- MOVIE REVIEW

One of the best films in years, and in artistic cinematic terms, one of the best films I've ever seen. That's a heavy statement to make, but off the top of my head, I cannot think of another film that...

blogging is not fame

Maybe Andy Warhol was right, but he was still weird and pretty gay. It's getting kind of annoying seeing everyone posting blogs and dumb ass videos on youtube, and the crazy thing is a lot of people ...

Online Dating - The Payback

So I go on Match.com, spend time creating a "portrait," as they like to call it, where I answer generic questions and try to sound interesting. I am then allowed to "wink" at prospective dates for fr...

Shoot me in the face

So why doesn't someone just shoot me in the face and hang a sign around my neck that says "loser?" Well, since that would be illegal and really piss me off, that's probably why people don't do it... ...
