FUN!!! ......it comes in many ways, and if you like it, and others like it, than there's a fair chance that I like it too!
Party people, mindful people, respectful people, yeah.........there ya go! Mindful, Respectful Party People! Woohoo! Inhibitions and reservations have there place.....but damnit they can make life boring. I'm most comfortable around those who are comfortably lunched! I'm a mad hatter with a method to his madness....if you can hang with that then you're my kind of people and we'd probably make good friends!
House, Trance, and a whole lot of other random stuff. Believe it or not....I proposed to my wife prior to the Bonnaroo Festival. We made love, I got down on one knee, and then we went and watched Dave Matthews, Trey Anastosio, and Tim Reynolds jam out together live! It was surreal! Not my normal set but I can adapt to and appreciate many different environments. I grew up with eighties stuff and I dig on alot of that........especially when remixed into house!
I like stuff that'll make me laugh or engage my mind. I also like Sci-Fi and adventure type stuff!
I really don't watch that much television. When I do, I like stuff like "The 4400", "Stargate SG1", "Law & Order" (ironic given my complete disregard for the law), and "Battlestar Galactica" (the new one). Stuff like that is fun cuz it leads the mind to wonder about the random techno toys we'll have to play with in the probably not too distant future.
The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Those books were fun to read. I've read so many others..........but those stick out because the way the author worded the books forced me to visualize the scenery. The movies did an okay job of matching my mental imagery from those books but I'd have to say my mental imagery was way more vivid.
Isn't a hero someone who performs an action that you and others find admirable and noble? By that definition... I'd have to say that there are alot of heroes in the world. Devoted mothers and fathers and anyone with the daring to love completely without reservation. Intense hurt can come from that, but the benefit of the risk is that you may or may not perform an action, advertantly or inadvertantly, that may be perceived as heroic. Woah! That was deep! Maybe I should've just said Spider man or some shit like that! Heh, heh, heh!
