Hey there! Its you! And here's a little bit about me:
I'm about 1 year away from med school. Something tells me I have no intention on graduating, but I think thats okay. I focus my studies on medicine and science, and even if amounts to nothing, at least I can carry a conversation and put on a bandaid. I am currently a member of student government, and hope to get a green energy movement across the board.
Lately I've been having a lot of problems with my heart, so if you're in the same boat, I am one to talk about it. I recently had an electrophysiology study done, and I found that I have an arrhythmia in my atria. We were hoping to find something in the ventricle, but alas... nothing is that easy. I currently deal with daily palpitations and take beta blockers (I know I'm only 23!) But I live heart smart with no caffiene (did i spell that right?) and a great diet and plenty of exercise.
I really enjoy driving my car (engagement present), traveling with my gorgeous Kyle (New years was Grenada, Birthday in Disney World, Spring Break is safari in Africa, and this summer *fingers crossed* will be Japan and Philippines with my Dad), and cooking. I've become quite the little chef... if you could see my kitchen you would understand why (My first house!!!!). 6 top burner wolf range... granite counter tops... Roasting meats, and baking pastries are becoming my favorite things to make, I bake a lot.. (ask kyle about that waist line jk!), pastas... dinner parties in my Indonesian dining room.... southern cooking... I'm desperate for the right brand of white gravy. I HAVE to go to Publix when I get back to FLA.
I have two adorable dogs that I play with all the time... or at least they try to play with me constantly. Fucker will be 2 on Valentines. He is a french bulldog... spunky as ever. Onyx is 3 1/2 miniature dalmatian. They love their little polo shirts, riding in the Rover (although fucker prefers my car in the summer).
I GOT MY SCOOBA!!!! No more wet swiffering anymore!! This thing rocks!!!!

Currently I write a column for the group Soy Latte... we're an all female private group limited to 2500 members. I write health, love, recipe, and life advice... ;)

I'd like to meet:

Its really nice to meet down to earth people. Catching up with people from 'back in the day' is also kind of fun as well. Networking is great. And perhaps a surgery internship might come of all this... but I don't really know that many doctors diggin' the myspace. Ugh I can even begin to think about a surgical internship.

My iPod keeps punishing me with Ace of Base and Disney tracks... I recently discovered Black Lab, which Kyle has loved for years now, and they are not half bad. As of 12.26.06 (boxing day!) I have 10873 songs on my iPod. :P And a new 80GB iPod!

Plus theres this really cool girl named JEM (not truly outrageous) and she doesnt have pink hair. But she's been in a lot of soundtracks, and I've had her CD since '04. You might check her out... i think she myspaces...

I recently discovered a great song by Josh Rouse "Winter in the Hamptons" But if you listen to the words I think it should be called spring time in the hamptons... but its fun and up beat, even if the words don't make much sense.
Butch Walker released a new album with the "Lets go out tonights" called 'the rise and fall of butch walker'. Its prety catchy, and I have about 4 of the songs on .dv acoustic from his live preformance at Virgin Union Square. The song you're listening to right now is off that album. Its good, but I find myself falling back into "Left of Self-Centered"

Au Revoir les Enfants is probably one of my fave movies that can always make me cry.
I dunno... I have a whole closet of movies... people like to describe my collection as 'the very best of blockbuster.' I buy whatever comes out on Tuesdays, so I'm pushing 2000. I watch just about everything, but my choice movies I will watch again, and again.

Television:

FOOTBALLERS WIVE$ is the most addicting television show I've ever seen in my life. So far seasons 1 2 & 3 are the only ones on DVD in the states, but its fucking amazing. I can't believe they are going to kill off everyone except Tanya.

Nip/Tuck, I really liked the 1st and 2nd seasons of Laguna Beach lol, Futurama, Family Guy, Good Eats with Alton Brown, Las Vegas...FUTURAMA (i just bought all possible dvds...omg... so funny)I freaking love being asain

Books:

Rob is the greatest! Yes Rob is the greatest lol... although that book has yet to be written and I'm sure when it is the royalties he will ask for will be enormous!I'm still reading Son of a Witch, the much anticipated sequel to "Wicked"... the real story of the wicked witch of the west... Fuck Dorothy, this story was awesome. And so far the newest book is living up to its hype.Do you know Dexter? Darkly Dreaming Dexter? If you've seen the show on Showtime, then you know what I'm talking about- if not.. grab a book. ADDICTING!... fastest read I've ever read. does that make sense? I flew through those two books in less than 2 whole days!
