My name is Carol Danvers, I am now known once again as Ms. Marvel. Upon my recent return to the Avengers, which was prompted by the sudden decrease of my "Binary" powers. As Binary, I channelled all forms of energy, courtesy of a white hole that powered me. I could survive unprotected in space and could fly. At the start of my career, I was a government operative, in which capacity I met and befriended Logan. Afterwards, I began working in Cape Canaveral as Chief of Security. I then met Captain Marvel, the Kree superhero, and got caught in the crossfire of a battle between him and Colonel Yon-Rogg, another Kree. I was accidentally irriadiated by the Psyche-Magnetron, which altered my DNA to become partly Kree, and also granted me fantastic powers. As "Ms. Marvel," I possessed super-strength, invulnerability, flight and a precognitive 7th sense, plus the ability to fly unprotected in space. These powers (and my entire persona) were transferred to Rogue during their epic battle in Avengers Annual ..10. I have retained a toned-down version of the Binary energy powers, but the loss of my full capabilities has driven me to drinking, rather heavily. As a result, I had been unable to make rational decisions during battles and was removed from active duty. Recently, however, after some therapy and working with Iron Man, I have been returned to full status in the Avengers. Me as Binary
