Formed in January of 2006, the band began as a four-piece consisting of front man Anye Noprada, guitarist Andy Villanueva, bassist Tepel Maca, and drummer Den Mark Genius Baldeo. Several months later, in search of a fuller sound, rhythm guitarist Laurence Iroy entered the lineup. Characterized by their catchy choruses, Eliakim best identifies with the rock genre, though they boast a broad spectrum of influences including Haste the Day, It Dies Today, Dead To Fall, Poison The well and Burning Season
