What is Sea of Rains? An invitation to those who grieve...
Sea of Rains is a collective of musicians who seek to express emotions through music; specifically - sadness, despair, desolation. We find ourselves within the specific subgenre of doom-metal, both in musical style and lyrical themes.
We are a group of people with ideas ideas that we try to elaborate through our sound and words. From our most miserable experiences, to our misplaced belief-systems, to our well-contained anger - they are incorporated, packaged in our songs and our instrumentals.
We make sad music. We focus our art and life in the exploration of our own misery. Though we do not give in to despair, we dwell ourselves unto it, seeing it as our inspiration to create. We try to analyze our lives and the world around us, and know more of our sadness; and we hope to share these ideas with you.
