I'm a cartoonist, zinester and founder of the Houston Area Comics Society. I also create and publish comics and zines.The Houston Area Comics Society (formerly known as the Graphic Novel Discussion Group) is an alliance of cartoonists, zinesters, writers, artists, educators and readers dedicated to increasing awareness, fostering appreciation, and encouraging creation of comics, zines, minicomics, graphic novels, animation, self-publishing and related arts in the Houston area and beyond. The group organized the first Houston Comix and Zine Festival and remains actively involved in the planning of this annual event.
