Blood and Scones... a band that holds a tea party on a crypt edge and wanders the wastelands of the post-apocalypse...With all of its original members still in phantasmo-fighting form, Blood and Scones emerged from the brimstone-whim of their Lead Vocalist on one Autumn night in 2004, crashing out lyrics and poetry to dark rock (rehearsed only once) with music by Jason (Bass), Steve (Guitar) and Mike (drums; who I only met for the first time that evening). As we further refined the word and shadow, Mistress Claudia joined the fold, as Female Vocalist and "Nurse to the Damned"... With such an army we marched forth into the local Sydney venues with the Black Book of Death held in one hand and a bloodied riding crop in the other...!A demo was battered out in late 2004... As the Black Book rewrites itself ad infinitum, the twisted counterpoint of the Blood and the Scone will ever churn and writhe... Be Warned.
