It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation

About Me

I'm an irn-bru loving struggling student, stranded between Welwyn Garden City and South Beach. Dedicated to; change, dirty breaks, big bass lines, soulful melodies and Existentialism.
Inspired by Curtis Mayfield, Carlos Monsivais, Albert Camus, The Cold Crush Brothers, Gregory Isaacs and Rakim.
I'm an American Studies student - to some this seems controversial, pointless and trivial... To me it means: Burroughs, Faulkner, Hip-Hop, Martin Luther King, LA, New York, Miami, Gangs, Guns, Vice, Counter-Culture, BB King, Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, JFK, Vegas, Andy Warhol, Alfred Hitchcock, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hunter S. Thompson, Franklin, Postmodernism, Motown, Levis.
Born in Manchester,I love meat and potato pie, chips and gravy! Generations of die hard City fans in my family and i love the pilgrimage north to Eastlands.
Anyways i work for Kemet Entertainment Records - the biggest Hip-Hop Independent around! If you don't know check us out. And those that want any further information on all forthcoming and current releases don't hesitate to ask! Safe.
