I made my first ever trip to the U.S. intent on seeing a 'big' home game, & I managed it & with my lovely hubby Keith, I saw them live at Yankee Stadium (the house that my namesake 'Ruth' built) when they beat the Red Socks back on June 30th 2004 (This was the night before poor Derek Jeter injured himself diving into the crowd - the screams coming from my hotel room the night of him injuring himself - people must have thought I was being murdered).
Am going to do my darndest to get back out to New York before The Yankees move into new stadium, though money is tight at the moment.We live in quite a quiet little Northamp-
