After the dissintegration of the former band (Tacit Queer) a live album (Bootleg X.XIIMMV) y 22 shows in various mexican cities... The surviving members regrouped (Jan: voice/bass, Angel:Drums, Felipe: Sax, Arnaud: Trombone) and change their name to "THE TACITS" adding one new member -Patrick- on guitar. They spent August and September 2006 rehearsing to build their new lineup, sound and adding a bunch of new songs. THE TACITS released their first studio E.P.: "KOROVA" (October 06), under the independent label 'NoTV Records'. As musicians and music fans, THE TACITS, know that IT is very difficult to find "the original sound" nowadays... Nonetheless combining the sound of classic rock, based on a heavy rhythm section, and the textures of sax and trombone they have achieved the goal of sounding very different from anyone out there... "THE TACITS" sound! In November 2006 Alejandro (former guitar) return to the band. They spent November and December 06 in the studio recording their first album (IRON BRIDGE, to be released on late march '07. As musicians and music fans, THE TACITS, know that IT is very difficult to find "the original sound" nowadays... Nonetheless combining the sound of classic rock, based on a heavy rhythm section, and the textures of sax and trombone they have achieved the goal of sounding very different to anyone out there... "THE TACITS" sound!

Tras la desintegración de la banda anterior (Tacit Queer) un album en vivo (Bootleg X.XIIMMV) y 22 presentaciones en Puebla, D.F., Xalapa y Aguascalientes. Se reagrupan y adoptan el nombre de “THE TACITS”, invitando a colaborar a un nuevo guitarrista: Patrick. Dedican la mayor parte de Agosto y Septiembre ‘06 a conformar el nuevo sonido (con un Nuevo guitarrista: Patrick F.) y crear canciones con la nueva alineación: Jan Ingram (Bajo/Voz) Angel Parra (Batería), Felipe Quintero (Sax), Arnaud Daniset (Trombón). En Octubre 06 lanzan un E.P. ‘KOROVA’, bajo el sello independiente ‘NoTV Records’. En Noviembre 2006 se reintegra Alejandro (guitarrista) a la banda y de Noviembre a Diciembre 2006 graban las 9 canciones de su primer album: IRON BRIDGE que se lanzará en marzo 2007. Como creadores y fanáticos de la música, THE TACITS saben lo dificil que es, hoy en día, encontrar un "sonido original"... Combinando el sonido del rock clásico (de varias décadas) soportado por una potente sección rítmica, mezclada con las texturas aportadas por el trombón y saxofón, logran crear un sonido muy característico y distinto a lo que comunmente suena en la radio y en los audifonos actualmente... el sonido único de "THE TACITS"!
