The other day I was enjoying a pleasant ride on a horse in the middle of a sugar plantation. And it was right in the middle of the ride when i asked myself, " what if this horse decides to go buck wild on me, kicks me about ten feet in the air, and i land on a sugar cane stalk as it pierces right through my heart, and i die, i die right now."... I mean... What would the Almighty One say about my resume?What kind of legacy would i leave behind? Did i create postive changes. Did i help the people who needed me? What the hell, oops maybe i shouldnt say that word right now, Did i make my people proud?...Other than toilet papering jacobs house when i was 12 (boy did we mess it up) I did it in the best interest for the rest of the community. He was a beast. He used to chase us on his bike with water baloons... IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER!!! ...so... YES!... I decided... "I am going to heaven!" So I slipped jesus some toilet paper, and i was in.And from that point on, I realized that my deed is to love. Everything. Even if someone almost runs my ass over in the rain. They will smile at the beautiful and creative hand gesures that i learned from my ancestors and passed on to them.
