About Me

I recently started drinking tea. I'm incredibly impatient. I used to be convinced that I'd find my true love on Craigslist's "Missed Connections"--I still look. I'm learning that the "professional" world is not all that professional. I walk pigeon-toed when I'm drunk. I have an extreme dislike of e-faces and cyber-lingo (LOL). I have an embarassing habit of wearing shirts and underpants inside-out. I wish Frank O'Hara would come back to life so I could turn him straight. C&C Music Factory's "It's Gettin' Kinda Hectic" often plays in my head. I hate myself a little every time I use exclamation marks in business e-mails. I feed the stray cats at work. I agree that 1 is the lonliest number. I have trouble letting go. I have 43 purses. I feel like a real grown-up now that I have a 401k. I'm a member of Team Awesome USA. I can smoke with my toes. In honor of one of my best friends, I collect Homies; right now, Chula's my favorite. I still try not to step on cracks on the sidewalk. I went into serious debt my sophomore year in college because I was dependent on my psychic. I'm a hypochondriac. I smoke WAY too much. I miss my Gran a whole lot. I miss my three best friends a whole lot. I'm super-moody. I have enormous feet.

Loving love, pinball, Dunkin' Donuts' French vanilla coffee, tacking "a-saurus" onto words, Saturday morning crosswords in bed, honesty, proper grammar, anything with lime, the first time, sampling grocery store produce, boys who read, fun socks, handwritten correspondance, red and orange tulips, lamenting my long-lost cat, Boggle, big hands, finding bargains, laughing at local news, men who moisturize, reading, sweeping and dusting, shuffleboard, finding a decent enchilada sauce, writing in my Courage journal, Sunday brunch, depth, kisses on the eyelids, gluttony club meetings, Friday afternoon Mexicalli margaritas with my best friends, shuffling through leaves, sunny-spot naps, kitten paws, looking for the next best thing, knowing when I've found the next best thing, yoga, cold weather.
