Growing up it was first my dad who was aways about his business , while doing that old boy was getting down to a mixture of all genres of music and I then on some father like son tip was listening and taking it in like a sponge.From Phil Collins pon drums to The beatles , all the J Lennon lps , Eric clapton to REM , Jackson 5, and whole lot of soul.But only when i was age 12 i was introduced to kid N play and ice t around that same time i was handed the snoop dogg 'doggy style ' on cassette tape i think my boy jacked it from his cousin.Life was easy back then yeh.I think i had to be Geez & Hustlaz that beat was so crazy back then with that ice cream sounding van on the intro , that's the beat that had me hooked to the world of HipHop. From there Cypress Hill black Sunday ( Mugs) and all the Wu shit all . Boi Rza killed it back then differently and then my favourite era of hiphop that NY 94 - 98 old Easy mo be, N Myrick and Havoc.It was Tim on fri & Sat nite radio and MTV RAPs (old school Sky TV with 1 music channel wtf ,on Wednesday night at 12:00am on school night that was the only access i had back then, oh i them old NBA vhs had joints on them to.Now im in the my middle 20's the game has moved so fasted and look were it is now.the industry is the giant brain u know the money machine controlling the whole shit pouring out piss poor artists and ring tone deals , someone please pass me an 80's big old mobile cell phone so i can call Eric B.Don't get me wrong I'm not hating i love the game, f ing love the game its all about change and moving forward, its amazing to witness how rare something was to how tacky and played out it is becoming.There is so much hevi hevi music out there u just got to open your ears.I aint even that old myself I continue to do what i do, which is have love 4 the Game ,i Licks and all Coffey Shop music that is getting made is a way of life a sound of everything I have soaked up ,I'm giving back in my way , that 2015 shit .Currently as always working hard making riddims, beats, instrumentals, writing tracks 'don't think its games cos its not' ...Beats for sale,Beats for free ,Trade for vocals and beatsor simple love 4 the music colaboGET AT ME FOR A BEAT TAPEany time message me.MySpace Layouts - myspace layouts
