RED (New Material This Year)

On October 3, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York Latasha Watson (RED) was born. "With the chances of my mother and I not making it out the hospital alive signature me as the Miracle baby of the day, just thinking about it makes me understand I was born for a reason, and the reason is to make people feel good". " The Name RED came from my Grandmother as I was an newborn". Growing up as a child, Red always found herself interested in Entertainment. "Growing up in my family, Music is one of the most important things in our lives. Just listen to my Mom and other family members sing or dance was a joy to me. During the 90s my sister would always blast music in the house,like TLC,The Fugees, Michael jackson, Madonna, oh my god so many type of music artist we was listening to which she was not knowing she was making me into Musician" (she laughs). At the age of 11 years old, Red became very interested into two Entertainment focus, Dancing and Rapping. Dancing Hip Hop inside of her home and taken Ballet classes all became natural to her. "Dancing is so Powerful to me, Its a true passion that can express yourself through movement". Also rapping became apart of her."Starting Rapping at the age 11 was not that hard for me because of the fact, I follow the foot steps on strong MC's like Left Eye(TLC), and Lauryn Hill strong lyrics and flows, made me say Hey I want to do that too". In october 2005 at her sweet sixteen, Red was force to Freestyle in front of everyone. " I was so sacred because I was so use of rapping for my Parents,sister, and Best Friends. But Now I am happy I was force to rap at my party because that gave me a chance to perform in front of others, and I must say that felt good". In 2006 Red taken a couple classes at Broadway dance Center in New York City which help her to develop more in choreograph. In July 2007 Red enters the recording studio and records many tracks including the track swag track "STYLIN" which talks about her style and love for fashion. Now 2008 Red main focus is to let the world hear her music."Listening to what many people say how much they love & enjoy my style and my Music, makes me want to breath in music even more".
