About Me

When I first heard about My Space, I didn't want any part of it. Sure, I can understand why it's useful if you've got something to promote, or some reason you need to network, but I felt a degree of discomfort knowing that so many people have unscrupulously divulged so many details of their personal lives for all to see. However I've decided to go ahead and disclose some of my own personal thoughts, in the hope that maybe I will discover others like me. People who wish (albeit naively) that the world could be a more equal and just place, and who are not willing to lie down and be shafted by the lies of their governments and media. Until now, I was just another person with enough knowledge to speak out, but not enough enthusiasm to actually do something to show that I can put my money where my mouth is.
booze, drugs, posessions, wants, desires and 'out and out nihilism' contribute to silencing our fresh liberal minds. So many of my friends are the most intelligent, opinionated and free thinking, open-minded beings, yet so many are in the position I have been in in the past...too distracted and stoned/drunk/hungover to get off their arses and care. It's begun to make me think that this is part of a plan. Along with boozing and other 'recreational' activities, we are being kept prisoners in our own country. Our need for enjoyment far outweighs our want of honest, unspun truths about the world. And this has occurred because we are products of our white-ruled, western, capitalized society. I don't want you at this point to pass me off as a liberal-wishy-washy-communist eutopian dreaming twat, coz that isn't what I'm trying to promote. What I am trying to say is that we're the next generation whose opinions and values will count, and although there is no solution to our crisis at present, if we're not thinking about the alternatives to a police state, biased capitalist media and neo-liberal shit hole of a government who lead us into unquestionable injustices, who is going to sort us out?!?!

My Interests

Peace, Love, Empathy, Tolerance, Understanding, Altruism

Communicating - with anyone, anywhere, anytime. I love human behaviour - isn't it fascinating that we are all biologically so similar, yet our perceptions of life and the world around us are so different?!

Reading, music, raving, going to gigs, and kick boxing (soooo cathartic!).

I'll allow my cat to attack me for his enjoyment. Think that makes me a bit altruistic. Or crazy.

My pet hates include:

*McDonalds
*fast food
*eating meat (which I don't do...yeurgh!)
*processed food
*litter (no need!)
*the fur trade
*ignorant bigoted people (for example, fascists, racists, homophobes, chauvinists, misogynists)

*comedians who think it's okay to be offensive and any of the above subtypes (for example, fascists, racists, homophobes, chauvinists, misogynists) if they argue they are being IRONIC(?!?!?!)we don't live in a world where the majority have the sense to understand fucking irony! Better not to confuse or incite the masses, eh?

*apathy
*ignorance
*capitalism
*hypocrites
*the consequences of Thatcherism on my generation (we're fucked up man)
*Bush
*Blair
*Brown
*Murdoch and all his evil twisted media outlets (which includes myspace)
*the English parliament and political system.....
*restricted free will
(I know I moan on and on, but come on, what other avenues of change are there?!?!)

POLITICAL IGNORANCE FUCKS ME RIGHT OFF
(DON't try and argue/debate with me if you're getting your facts from tabloids or other small minded people because you will look stupid....)

Girls feeling the NEED to wear make up....ladies, you who I know to rely on make up have nothing to worry about - you all look fabulously beaut when your faces are naked :o)

Girls who would rather shaft then support their fellow grrrlfriends if a guy of interest was involved. There's no way we women have historically fought for our independence, just so we can fight for the attention of some stoopid smelly boy. Some Feminine solidarity purlease!

I'd like to meet:

Other ginger peeps so we can form a Ginga Militia movement and put right the wrongs of the world, whilst restoring our reputation after Thatcher ruled GB. Just because us gingers have no souls...does not mean that we have to take it out on a whole country. Deal with it biarch!

The words of a very wise young man...

These lyrics touch me, both by listening to them when Willy Mason sings them, but also just by reading them...my sentiments exactly!  They fill me with hope, and remind me that pessimism is not a...

I didn't think I would be upset about Bliar going....

And if it weren't for the oh-so-hazy and uncertain future of our c*ntry's leadership, I swear I would be dancing on the ceiling with joy that that nasty old f*cker B-liar was soon to be put out to pas...

I should be doing revision, but I keep being distracted by thoughts of power....

What is it about that which we define as 'power'?  I've been thinking about the way that governments work, particularly in respect of today's political parties.  It seems to me that they are...
