Get a profile like mine at Skize! My name's Alex - short for Alexandra - it's not too bad though because apparently my Mum and Dad were going to call me Edwina so I think I got off lightly! My middle name's Mary - lots of people laugh at it but I'm proud of it, it was my Nana's name and I'm pleased to have a part of her with me.I'm 24, although I must look about 15... given the fact I got ID'd for the lottery just days after my last birthday, which is in August, and if you believe in all that astrology stuff apparently that makes me a bit of a show-off. Probably true.I'm pretty rubbish at near enough everything....something you'll know if you've ever played any sporting event, table football, pool, cards.. Tiddlywinks... or whatever ...with me! In fact just about the only talent I do have is writing and talking. I guess that's why I ended up in my job. I'm a journalist at Key 103 in Manchester and The Hits - which is a national digital station. At one point I was going to be a dancer, then I thought about being a graphic designer but now I can't imagine doing anything else in the whole world.I drive a really old mini. It used to be full of rust, everyone at my old job (Rock FM - which I will love forever!) used to call it the skip! I was driving it one day and the wheel fell off it! It used to be blue, and then I crashed it on Friday the 13th! My big brother - Richard - re-sprayed it for me all by himself - he's a good-'un and much more talented than I will ever be! It’s now red and white and looks fookin' ace!I'm a complete Daddy's girl and my friends mean everything to me, which also makes me fiercely loyal.I'm scared of ghosts and I hate moody people but I love cups of tea, fun, going out and parties - especially fancy dress ones. Just about the funniest thing I've ever done was fish-hook Jason Donovan!I'm very clumsy - I fall over pretty much every day. If I was one of the 7 dwarves I'd most definitely be sleepy. I'm late for absolutely everything! As anyone who's ever had to wait for me will testify!!!I also think I might have that S.A.D thing where you're not as happy in the winter because there's no sun ... although I love Christmas! It’s the most wonderful time of the year after all.I believe in karma and that whole “what goes around comes around” thing. I also think you can tell loads about someone by their shoes. Sounds weird, I know, but for example...I'd go bare foot if I could, it's really comfy and nothing can hold you back. My mate Vinny on the other hand says he'd be your trusty dependable loafers... they're always there when you need them. Ahh!
