As a struggling out of work actor in the early 70's, my friend Ernie suggested we try out for some new kids' show. Little did I know I'd be roped into doing to same frigging thing for 30-plus years.People find it hard to believe that Ernie and I are merely platonic friends living and sleeping in the same house for over 30 years. What the hell? Can't two people share the same place without being ostracized as flamers? And by the way, technically you're not gay if you're the "giver."This photo was taken after me, Cookie Monster, and Snuffleupgagus had a wild night on the Sunset Strip with Robert Downey Jr. and too many Jack and Cokes.
