Matt Sweeney and Ryan Jonson met and played in the most influential punk rock band EVER to come out of Holy Trinity High School in Hicksville, New York, Critically Acclaimed back in 1999/2000. After breaking up midway through 2000, Matt and Ryan went their separate ways; Matt concentrated on college while Ryan concentrated on heavy heroin and alcohol abuse. A chance meeting, though, in December 2001 in the Nassau Community College parking lot saw Ryan and Matt running into each other and then once again bringing the funk, this time with bassist Rudy Hernandez on board. After recording about four songs, Rudy disappeared and the band was once again a two-piece. Dubbed the parent teacher association in January 2002, Ryan took over vocal and drum duties while Matt took guitars and bass. Now, in 2006, the parent teacher association has run its course with bassists, as they ain't aint got no soul, except for Danielle Grace (who they miss with all of their hearts; Ryan has sincerely apologized for his indiscretions).
