Lego is an artist form Toulouse, born in 1979.
At 18, Lego entered the world of music with West African traditional percussion ( known as “Mandingue†).
Meeting artists' collective such as Collexotic ( Tellemake ) or Electroluxe Family and
discovering dj Shadow, dj Krush, dj vadim, Aphex Twin, Warp Records and Ninja Tune was for lego the trigger
for composing electronic music (1998/99).
Autodidact, he started his first real compositions in 2000 on softwares like Logic Audio, and later Ableton Live.
It's in july 2005 that the collective Electroluxe Family and the Foutraque association contacted him for his first
lives, bands supports and playing in private views ( Murone, Dadou, Multiprise magazine...).
That's how he gets noticed by other associations or artists ("Les Musicophages", july 2006,
for the off festival of the Siestes Electroniques).
For their March/April 2006 issue, the cultural magazine "6m1p", featured him in a double page and offered him
a collaboration for events organised by the magazine ( private views, issue launches, or for the 25th
anniversary of the FMR radio ). Lego also did a lot of collaborations with artists like Lil,
as well as remixes for Electroluxe Family and others.
At the moment Lego is working on a remix of the parisan electro-pop band's "urban tale"
