About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

I got my first passport stamped when I was 3 months old and have since had a strange affinity with airports and strangers. In between I lived in LA, London, Paris, NYC, Karachi, Istanbul and and speak 5 perversions of english + 3 other languages. It eventually all added upto wanting to tell stories of what I'd seen from B-boying to war journalism to parties in the Hollywood hills and I found a variety of different mediums from script writing, Acting, cinematography, editing, MC'ing and finally Directing to do it.I'm prone to let my eyes wander..looking for details...consistently reminded that fact is stranger than fiction.. Seeing a pattern in chaos, is like being able to see something only if you squint your eyes in a certain way and ofcourse people that stand around making wierd faces tend to connect with their own kind. (I like to call them self-employed entreprenuers)So..downloading thought provoking ideas into the cortex is the mission and since making Greenbacks (or Euros) is necessary to buy self sufficiant energy and a clean patch of land with a view, I use my skills audio visual in global media in Television, Music Vids, Commercials, Cinema and straight up helping people sell their goods...then I fund my own content based projects that usually stem from real people and their stories.I made my first full length film in a warzone in Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2001. Its called 'Hashashin' and its about war, hash and 1 mans journey into both. (not me, the actor). After that I wrote a film called Iraqi Freedom which was accepted at the Sundance Screenwriters Lab. This was a righteous process I recommend to any writer..I Moved to Turkey to flip the script and write and learned a new language which I can now use in Central Asia, Berlin and kebab shops in west London. It gave me 5 more scripts worth of inspiration which im now in the process of making 1 at a time..1st in early 2007 in London...With music, I Have a collective I Produce under the name of PLayBoy Refugeez. Its a collection of works I Produced with some of the mad genius creative people Ive connected with along the years. OUr last video was number 1 in the video charts in Turkey..and should be out in Europe in the new Year..So for now, i'm moving back westward with the next plan, enjoying it is the art of living, doing it is writing the next chapter...and making bank is steering the course full steam ahead..see ya'll in the next transit lounge
