About Me

I do not know anymore...I seem to be having a sort of 1/3 life crisis as of late (purely internal), assuming I live to be 99 that is. I find myself craving simplicity more and more. Whatever that means, or may be, it certainly doesn't appear to be anywhere near me right now. Anyway, I was in a bunch of bands...Liars Academy, Cross my Heart, Daybreak, The Firebird Band(ex- Braid, from Chicago), Goodbye Harry/The Pavers (ex- ALL,New York), The Bedtimes(for a hot second at the end), and I am currently in a band called "Brothers". That's us playing over there to your left. Add us. I think I am in Cinamon Toast too. Find john Riggs on my friends list and ask him what the hold up is. I have spent the last 10 years or so of my life in a van, on tour with my friends. Not so much anymore though. But, the life I love is making music with my brothers(get it?? Brothers?? My band is called Brothers???), so never say never I guess. I get really bad Migraines about once every month or two. They make me puke and sick for 2 or 3 days after. I hate them, and they hate me. Don't worry about me though...this has been a constant since I was a child. I am almost sure that it is not brain cancer. I own and operate Ultrasound Recording in Baltimore City. I do not do sonograms, but I do record bands. That kinda rhymed. I recorded what you are listening to right now, if your sound is turned on and you haven't stopped my song from playing. I've recorded a lot of stuff over the past 5 or 6 or however many years or so, but enough about that. I enjoy learning and thinking and talking about the more "out there" theories on the mechanics our universe, our lives and realities, and our conciousness. I have physically touched and seen a ghost (it wasn't a ghost) or something like a ghost, and I don't know what to think about that. It keeps me awake sometimes wondering what the hell that means. I think about that every day. Ok, let me clarify this...I don't know if it was a "ghost". In fact, I'm sure it wasn't. But, it was something that absoultely was not of this world, or dimension or whatever, and it was as real as the computer screen you are staring at. My buddy John, who likes to argue with me constantly about anything I say or do, pointed out to me that this conflicts with me being an Atheist( for those who don't understand what that means, like John, it is simply the non-belief or rejection of a Deity). Hmmm....No. Anyway, I haven't told all that many people the story because most people would think I was lying, and it's not worth the hassle if no one is gonna believe me anyway, but if you wanna know, I'll tell ya. Fine, John...I am an Agnostic with Athiest tendencies. If that will finally put this to bed... Apparently, I am a fucked up dude, but "reasonably" fucked up....whatever that means. I am ok with it. Although I operate in 3 dimensions (4 if you wanna count time), I believe in at least 11, and possibly none at all, or maybe infinite ones. Who knows. I believe that people who waste their time with politics are wasting their time. I do not vote. It's all the same..Democrat...Republican...The more appropriate title for President should be CEO, really. Our founding fathers are puking blood in their graves right now. I used to want to destroy the very few enemies that I have, up until today. I have come to the conclusion that they are not worth the energy. I do still wish them harm though. It all comes back to that simplicity craving that I have developed. I hope to live long enough to see earthilngs go from a class 0 civilization to a class 1 civilization. If you do not know the difference, you should find out. Dyson Spheres are the first step. Google it. I am getting pretty fucking good at Lucid Dreaming. I realize that sounds really, really, insanely retarded... Otherwise, I think I am gonna be just fine...thanks for asking. Oh, and keep it understood, the elevation's good. Watch this video...this is why Earl Weaver is my fuckin goddamn hero, for chrissakes! Oh, and I sometimes think that everything that H.P. Lovecraft and Brian Lumley(mythos stuff only, not that retarded vampire bullshit) writes is the truth. Sometimes. Also, I don't cuss near as much in real life as I do here. I have a very broad lexicon, and a very firm grip on being able to verbalize and articulate myself without the use of vulgarities. I think they are sooooo funny in print, so fuck it. Did I mention that I have also recently developed a superiority complex?

My Interests

Well, I like to record and make music with my friends, and strangers too sometimes. I LOVE the O's and the Ravens, I like to read books about Theoretical and Astro-Physics and Near Death Experiences and Cthulhu and his pals and Atheism and Satanist literature and LSD soaked Psychology and Rock and Roll and Invisibility and Teleportation and 2012 and new Futurama stories and stuff like that. Horror Comics too... I like listening to records and hanging out, I like playing Madden, I like to ride my skateboard, I like going to the batting cage, I like throwing the baseball around, I like to go on drives in the dark through the country, but not alone. I like haunted houses and the idea of them being haunted. I like conversation, even though I am more often than not the quietest person in the room, I also equally like just not talking at all, I like really retarded inside jokes that only about 3 other people in the world laugh at, for example: Booooooooosh! See, you don't get it, do you?? I don't know...I like other stuff too. I like the end result of getting tattooed obviously, but not the process so much, I like getting new microphones and studio toys, I like pro tools and spending hours getting that perfect drum or guitar sound...it is very satisfying once you reach that point, I like the way a Telecaster through a Twin sounds, I like having weird dreams, I like being sleepy, I like a lot of reverb over a nice 4 part vocal harmony. I'll tell you when I think of something else.
