About Me

First, let me say that if any part of this profile is incomplete/incorrect, it's because I got tired of typing/clicking boxes...Let's see.... I am a pretty laid back guy, try not to stress too much. You will find "other" in my profile under ethnicity, as I am a blend of Black, Cape Verdean, Italian and Portugese. I enjoy hangin out with all my surogate brothers (P FI P!), and we pop up in the best places...Miami, Las Vegas, wherever the mood strikes. Right now I am into only my 1 Year old son Atreyu, and my family. I enjoy sports (playing and watching), movies, reading, eating, I am very open minded with what I am into. I enjoy all types of music, I mean All. Born and raised in Hartford Ct. (GO RED SAWX, and GO UCONN!!), but now live in Taylor, TX. Kind of feel like I am babbling as I describe myself so I will just let it end here, cool guy, fun to be around, smart ass, knows when to be grown up and when to wild out like a kid. That's me

My Interests

.. I think I said this already, but I will expound (give info in more detail, for all ya'll who don't like to read). I enjoy almost all sports (not Curling, if you don't know what that is look it up and you can join me in disliking it). I enjoy playin Basketball, Football, Soccer, Tennis etc. I am an athletic guy and enjoy being out and doing things. I love music, all of it. If it has a melody/beat I can vibe with and the artists are not trying to get heard just to sell records, I am pretty much into it. I like to have fun, no matter what. When I go out I plan on enjoying myself, not fightin in the club, not playin the wall, dancin and partyin like you should when you go out. You can play the wall at home, be seen at the mall, fight somewhere else. Me and the fellas go out, we bring the party with us, no matter the place.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people I guess, If you think you are interesting, talk to me, we will see.... Kidding, not really "looking" for anything in particular, just hangin out, plus this a great way for me to keep up with all the people in my life that I cant/dont always call/visit

Music:

Uhh, I like All types of music, which I think has been made Very clear at this point. Everything with a melody/beat you can feel, lyrics you can relate to, and artists who are just that, artists. I am pretty sick of all the new Mtv, American Idol, Sibling singing and rapping going on, all the Ray js, Ashley Simpsons, both of the Lohans, etc is ridiculous and needs to be cut off before the music industy goes in the toilet. Just becaue your sibling is mildly talented, does NOT mean you have an ounce of talent in your body....let it go So, that is my opinion, sorry to be so harsh but music is music and if you cant make it, you should do something else.

Movies:

THE LAST DRAGON, my favorite movie of ALL TIME. If you have not seen it, get off My Space and get on Netflix.... Neverending Story, GREAT. Bronx Tale, Mystic River, Empire Records, Ali, Young Guns, Friday (only the 1st one)Desperado, Clueless, Breakin, Harry Potter 1-4, From Dusk Till Dawn, Jet Li flicks, BRUCE LEE flicks, Garden State ( and anything else with Natalie Portman), Spider-Man, X-Men, The Money Pit, DREAMGIRLS, Snatch..... get the picture? I enjoy movies. Of course the list is a lot longer, but this should give you a good idea...

Television:

Hmmm, tv sucks now. Reality tv is the most unrealistic and mind numbing experience you can have outside of sniffing paint. I find myself watching sports, cartoons, sports, TLC, HGTV, sports, HEROES and The Black Donnelly's.... Used to be big into Alias, then Jennifer Garner got prgnant and the writers got BAAAD. Dont watch Lost, Dont watch Desperate over-the-hill actresses, dont watch sitcoms anymore... ah well, the news is interesting when it is not lying to you or trying to put your attention on something else so the Government can continue to feast on your ignorance...too deep? Let's just say I watch sports

Books:

The Harry Potter series, The Davinci Code (before all the hype) Angels and Demons, The Tao of Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee), Faithful ( I am a diehard RED SAWX fan!!!), The Audacity of Hope, The pursuit of Happyness. I enjoy reading when the mood hits me and will read anything that sounds interesting...

Heroes:

My Grandparents on both sides, for raising my parents (and 12 more kids between them) to be the parents I may not have always wanted, but needed more than I will ever know. My sister, for being as strong as the situation calls for , and still being sensitive enough to let herself be herself. Check her out in December in "Dreamgirls" with Beyonce' and Jamie Foxx, her name is Anika Noni Rose, and she will NOT disappoint. My whole family for being able to face the really rough times and stick together.... as well as spend the really good times together as a family. Tougher than it sounds
