I was born and raised in New York and like all American teenagers, if my parents liked something, it was my duty to like the opposite, so with my father being a die-hard Yankees fan I of course was. . . a Mets fan. I remained a Mets fan until I saw the Red Sox beat the Yankees one day and realized how much fans reveled in their rivalry, so of course I immediately became. . . a Red Sox fan.The more I learned about the Red Sox the less reactionary and the more heartfelt became my loyalty to them. I started looking for tee-shirts that really stuck it to the Yankees but never saw any I liked. By then I was also married - and wouldn't you know it... to another Yankees fan - and my husband loved to taunt me about Curse.As fate would have it, the Red Sox won the World Series on October 27, 2004, and as the team celebrated I turned to my husband and said, "BABE THIS!"And so was born my favorite Red Sox Tee-Shirt.
