I don’t think anyone ever really reads this section, but in the event some of you do, let me entertain you….
I’m Nando, just a man with ambitions, dreams, intellect, style and a love for life and a deeper love for family. My addictions range from Extreme Sports to Classical Music. Then there’s Food… I absolutely LOVE Food... Portuguese, Malaysian, Japanese, Thai, Shangainese, Latino, Indian,... god... I just love food... maybe that's why I started cooking at age 7? I’m not a picky eater… the army made sure of that, but I have been known to indulge my taste buds from time to time. I'm not as photogenic as my better half, heck let’s face it… the likelihood of me taking a good photo is 1 in 10,… but that’s okay… I just thank god I look so much better in person. Hopefully, my kid is blessed with the ability to look good in photos as well as in person. I've been labeled as tall, charming, sweet, handsome, well mannered, yet crazy individual who is a better leader than follower. I don’t pick fights... they usually pick me... I just always manage to finish them. I still find it odd how sometimes it’s the very things we hate doing that is usually the one thing we excel at. I guess we’re given these gifts for a purpose… they are merely keys in our lives… good luck in finding the lock.
Me… my character is quite easily defined in 4 simple words… “Benevolent to a fault". Don't get me wrong,... I have been bad...real bad... down right evil... but at the end I'm of it all I’m still a goody two shoes at heart. I have yet to realize the saying “you can't save the world and yourself at the same time” was intended for me. Maybe one day I’ll get the hint. People either hate me or love me for it. I’ve finally learn to accept the fact that you can’t make everyone like you and so I’m grateful for those I can call my friends.

Speaking of my friends... I know most of you aren’t exactly thrilled with my most recent decision,... especially with the current state of events this world lies in returning to the Army doesn't exactly seem like the most feasible thing to do, but the simple truth is that - that’s who I am. If you know me well enough then you know you cannot contest that... lord knows I've tried. I have a calling that heeds to be answered and with that a responsibility that only I can assume. Everyone here has a purpose and I've accepted this is where mine lies... for it’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me…
