My Interests

We love to travel, eat out and go to movies. I enjoy gardening when I have time.Check out http://www.2ridetheworld.com. Our new friends Lisa and Simon from the UK have been staying with us while on their trip to ride 'round the world. So far in 4 years they have been to 57 countries and plan to ride at least 5 more years to 122 countries on all 7 continents. Fascinating people and fascinating web site.

Music:

I love all kinds - especially Christian music. "Remember When" by Alan Jackson; "Blessed" by Elton John; and anything by Josh Grobin. Bob and I have also become Cadillac Sky groupies. We have to take power naps since they don't play until after 9 PM, and we just learned that they have signed with Ricky Skaggs! Keep your eyes and ears open to listen to their unique bluegrass style. The video is their song "Homesick Angel". One of the guys' sister-in-law works at Cooks Children's Hospital in Dallas, and the call the babies who die Homesick Angel. Are these guys good, or what!?I play the piano, organ and guitar. In HS, I played the French Horn in Concert Band; trumpet in Marching Band (all the trumpeters played football) and sang in Church Choir and School Chorus.
