I guess those 4.0s paid off for the last year, because A&M has let me come back to drink and finish what I started in 1996. Sweet.I got out of the Marine Corps (Squad Leader, "Ever Present" Echo Company, 2/4, 1st MarDiv) in January 2006. No, I didn't get sent to Iraq or Afghanistan (fuck you very much, Marine Corps!). Instead, I got to go to places like Seattle and Okinawa and the Philippines. What a hero. I will never let another man have that much control of my life ever again.Before that, I worked construction for about 3 years after getting kicked out of Texas A&M. I managed to last for 3 years at A&M, however. Amazing how if you keep paying them like 6 grand a semester, they let you hang around and drink.
