Forged in mid-2003, DEPARTED mark the beginning of a new extreme metal experience. In the past year, the band has concentrated on song writing and stylistic perfection. With influences covering the entire metal spectrum, it was a complex matter of musical alchemy. The product is a unique blend of sonic brutality, fueled by aggression but controlled by melodic calculation. DEPARTEDs first demo is but a glimpse into their growing catalogue of aural cataclysms. With only a handful of shows, the band now seeks to conquer the live arena. Its only a matter time. Departed is currently working on their seven song Ep, which should be out hopefully in mid January. This cd will contain brutal new versions of " I am Wrath", and "Slaughtering the Lambs", also on the cd will obviously contain brand new tracks which is showing the bands more brutal and vicious direction. This Cd will be out in stores and will be available to order off the net, either from here or from the bands official site which will be up and running soon. Also, other Merchandise will be coming soon, stickers, thongs, baby dolls, T-shirts, and limited addition Departed scrub shirts. Also Departed will be looking to add a second guitar player to add to the bands brutal sound. A bulletin will be up @ the appropriate time, and that will most likely be after the release of the CD. All the requirements will be on the bulletin, and flyers. Also Departed will be passing out the last of their old tree song demo until the release of the cd. Reason why, is because the band has grown tremendously since the old demo, and you'll be able to hear it durring the first few seconds of the opening track "Invultuation", So the last batch of cd's will be given out durring band performances and some will be left in stores.
