BÖSS is the name of Ludwig Böss´ Berlin-Malmö Band With Toft Stade on bass and Dennis Johansson (guitar), Oskar Ling (piano/organs), Fredrik Myhr (drums), and they have recorded their debut album "An Iron Fist In A Velvet Glove" in old school methods.
"The album consists of songs that I have written during different years.It is kind of a spectrum of me and my personality over the last years.The lyrics are mostly about love and confusion, but in a good way, because I am a happy person and not a depressed rocker!", BÖSS claims.
The album was produced by BÖSS himself and Acke.BÖSS, whos first name is Ludwig was born in Finland to a Swedish mother and a German father and moved to Sweden when he was about five.He grew up in the south of Sweden in a small town and moved to different places after school.
He began to play and make music as an autodidact when he was about 15. Since then he has constantly written his own material.
In 93 BÖSS moved to Umeå in the north of Sweden and formed the band Ray Wonder.
Altogether Ray Wonder released 5 albums and toured around the world.
When Ray Wonder split up in 2000 Ludwig and Toft continued to work togehter and eventually recorded their debut album " An Iron Fist In A Velvet Glove" after almost 3 years.
It was released in Sweden in 2006 and got fantastic reviews.
Being a musician is not just the only thing BÖSS is doing.He has over the last years recorded, produced and arranged albums with artists like Sparklin June, The Sunshine, Hideki Kaji, Gods Of Blitz and Willie Wisley.
