ST.LUCIAN PHOTOGRAPHER LIVING IN LONDONThats my work up there,(I have lots more),I must apologise for the quality, this slide show does it no justice!,but this work is my passion, my heart my soul, I am working now as a freelance photographer,and part time for EMAP, doing product shots for several publications; I've photographed artists such as Candi Staton,Corrine Bailey-Rae, Speech(Arrested Development)Omar,Eric Roberson,Gwen McCrae, Don-E,Sounds of Blackness,The Pharcyde, Jaki Graham, Jocelyn Brown,Fatback Band,Brand New Heavies, Family Stand,Osaka Monaurail, Ramp, Jesus Jones and da list continues, you can see some of dem in da slide show..or at ......www.reminiscin.co.uk..... My work varies from contemporary portraiture to documentary, to fashion, conceptual and everything else in between. In much of my work I aim to reflect my cultural heritage and in some raise political issues. ..................................See my site www.notimetogaze.com soon to be completed........... but man beyond my work I am a person who can feel fulfilled by a good piece of music, or a good piece of chicken; a good film or a good rum and coke; I can appreciate a fancy duck confit a l'orange as well as a good ole nice block of macaroni and cheese. I would sell my kingdom for some good fried plantain.I make a corn pizza that can make any man, woman, or child fall to their knees and crown me baroness of the new world...trust me............I love my carnival, and I aim to attend at least one every year, otherwise I would live life as a shadow of my real self!!! Chippin down de road in my costume whining to some soca is me in my element...my definition of happiness in its purest form. (see a couple of brukk- out pics in my gallery)..................I quite possibly might me one of the most patriotic people I know, and to know my home St.Lucia is to know my heart. Caribbean people make me happy. For the moment I am trying to get some worldly experience and all that but I see myself growing old in a wooden house surrounded by trees (has to be a mango tree somewhere in there) and painting on big canvases.....or maybe a fisherwoman by da sea.....................Come from a family of seven, which is continuously expanding....come from a mixed race mother (St.Lucian and english) and mixed race father (Black/Carib Indian/White)But yeah.. just message me man if you wanna kno more...

My Interests

The arts, so that includes photography (of course) film, and lots of music. Love to paint, even tho I haven't n a while, I sew alot, make jewellery and tings like that.

Hip-hop, soul, R n B, dancehall, SOCA, salsa, zouk,soukous,ndombolo, merengue, and other miscelleaneous tings. If you ask what kind of hip hop I talkin about, if you are familiar with ' Got more sole (soul) than a sock with a hole', you and me pon de same page. but if u don't know, mf doom, madlib, lord quas,pharcyde,nas,mos def, talib kweli,planet asia, dialated peoples,murs, tribe called quest, justus league,oh no,pete rock,smiff n wesson,blueprint,count bass d, common,rjd2 and da list goes on man. City of god, Old boy (some twisted shit boy), seven, amelie, clockwork orange, apocolypse now,donnie darko and some others, i just cah remember. trying to broaden my horizons with foreign films at da moment, I get vex when people say they hate films with subtitles....

Television:

I don't rush home for nutin but man don't wanna sound like 90% of the world but wah, Lost has got me man. Scrubs and cartoon cartoons (love the type of animation)- I think animators are the modern day albert einsteins, I think they are damn geniuses. I will turn off my phone and ignore the Queen of england at my door step if there's a good documentary on.

Books:
