About Me

DINO FILMMAKERFILM for me is truly a curse.. Its all I think about when I am awake...Alot of people have asked me why don't I just focus on writing, acting, or photography.. I guess if I could say it all in words, performance, or in photographs.. There would be no reason for me to make a film.... I love the totality of Film.....Film to me is the outward expression of an inner life in the artist.. I just don't get why the whole world doesn't want to make a film.....

My interests...pretty much everything know one else pays attention to.... painfully awful photoshop and design.. just like my site here..
shooting the indie hip hop movement through the Kubrick lens..

Stan Brakhage.. for those that watch the film below and say.. who cares.. and what the hell is this... just remember that each and everyone of the frames on this film were painted.. no computers.. no digital manipulation.. just one man painting his emotions on every frame of film.. thats all...

DINO'S VIDEO CLIP OF THE WEEK
Well my friend Josh Davis aka DJ SHADOW has hit another milestone in his career.. He along with Cut Chemist played and headlined the Hollywood Bowl this past summer. The show was called The Hard Sell. It was the first time that DJ's have ever headlined and sold out the Hollywood Bowl in its history. The DVD of this event was released last week.. pick it up if you can.. you may even see some of my work on this dvd aswell if you look closely enough... Congrats Josh and Lucas good to know that there are still real artists in Hip Hop...

BTW for everyone that thought Andy Warhol was talking about TV or Movies when he said "In the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes" are wrong... He was talking about the internet... or more specifically... myspace.com
