Lady Elaine is an indie/alternative rock & blues band from Tempe, Arizona, creating lo-fi igneous rock for all ages. Hungry Machine is now being digitally distributed all over the web including on CDbaby , Napster , Apple iTunes, Tradebit , and PayPlay . Only the hard copy contains a hidden bonus track, and it's available on Japashion.com . Not to mention they'll give all of the revenue minus shipping right back to Lady Elaine, further supporting our future releases.
In other news, we're getting our in house recording setup worked out after months of incompatibility issues that have driven ALL of us a little crazy. I luckily scored a 12 track mixing board on 50% off day at the local thrift store, and Nesto, our live sound guy/roadie, hooked us up with a G4 to run it through. My ProTools rig had been collecting dust since homegirls' comp was giving it the silent treatment. With just a few more tweaks I should have it up and recording, and our third album in gestation. Get ready for Dirt Road, the ruff stuff, out sometime in 2008! Hoping for nearly 20 tracks on that one....
Hollywood is a lot of fun and we've been introduced to a few great musicians that we're looking forward to playing some shows with. You should check out some of these guys in our top friends, definitely worth a listen! Lots of talented musicians here. Check out our friends if you've got a few minutes.
