I enjoy discovering new music, of all genres. I am the mom of gifted kids, so I like finding new ways to stimulate their brains by providing a wide range of experiences - - artistic, human, and academic. I write reviews of movies, books, and music on Amazon.com. I love crafts of all kinds! I enjoy planning roadtrips and always feel a little sad when they are done. I am doing more hiking these days. I like to read biographies. And most of all, I love to exasperate and bemuse my wonderful husband. Here is a video montage I made for him Father's Day 2006 - - the kids are older now!:

I'd like to have the following people over for a barbeque: Joss Whedon (I actually have met him, but he remains top of the list because he was so freakin' nice, I want to meet him again!), Charlie Kaufman, William Shakespeare, Ben Stein, John Adams, Robert Rodriguez, Howard Carter, Sir Ernest Shackleton, William Gaines, Queen Elizabeth I, and Mary - Queen of Scots (but not at the same time) As much as I adore Quentin Tarantino as an artist, I just don't think I could tolerate his nervous-edginess-slash-overconfidence for very long.
